Big Updates
Special Bonus Announcement
Hello again readers!
Hope everything is going great for you! Things have been crazy busy here. We have LOTS of information to cover today so I’m going to jump right in.
Schedule Changes
I have decided to abandon my schedule for the year. That means Wonderland Princess does NOT have a release date at the time or any of the books planned after that. The reason for this decision is the secret project. I will include more about that in a moment. I still plan to release Wonderland Princess this year but there’s just too much to do to promise a date at the moment. I will still be working on it when I have time and will still be sharing snippets and such in the meantime.
Secret Project
To build up interest and to better share information about the secret project, we have decided to do feature months. This means each month starting now, we will do a focus on one of our stories. Here is the schedule for that:
May - Me!
June - Brianne Ritchie Córdova
July - Faith Bentley
August - Morgan Brooks
September and October - The book as a whole
During our feature month, we will be giving our personal information for our story. Which includes but is not limited to title reveal, cover reveal, trailer, lots of promos, etc.
So since it’s May, it’s my month!!! (cue the confetti)
What if Little Red Riding Hood had a twin and switching places would save her people- or cost her everything?
My book is a semi-dark fantasy with dystopian elements. I will be including some of the promo videos below but first, it’s cover reveal time! Just a reminder, this is the cover for MY story, not the anthology’s cover.
And now for the promo videos that I will be sharing on Instagram, YouTube, and Goodreads between now and the next newsletter. This is 2 different videos. They just have the same background!
What If Little Red Riding Hood. . .
. . . had a twin and switching places would save her people- or cost her everything?
. . . was best friends with the wolf until he broke her heart?
. . .had to prove who the true ruler of her kingdom was?
. . .embraced the darkness inside her after losing her true love-hunting and destroying anyone who dared enter the woods?
These questions and more are explored in these multi-genre retellings. Red Riding Hood appears as you’ve never seen her before, falling in love in a contemporary romantic comedy, saving her people in a dystopian fantasy. Fighting for the truth in a medieval fantasy, and spiraling down a corruption arc in a villainous fairytale.
What’s in the Book Box?
The Little Red Riding Hood Anthology book box will have:
Hardback special edition cover with an exclusive design
Full-color character art printed in the book
Signed Book by all four authors
Character Art and Coloring on the interior pages
Goodies that coincide with each story
The listed price is $125 + $25 shipping, which is almost half the cost of book boxes of comparable value. To preorder, send your name, email, and shipping address in a message to Tayler through her website, or here through Instagram. Only 25 book boxes will be available, so it’s first come, first served! Preorders have already begun!
Deadly Delivery Mood Boards
I don’t know about yall but I love making and looking at mood boards so of course I had to make a few more!
I hope to get some games going for Deadly Delivery soon! This story is becoming more and more popular over on Instagram! I absolutely love reading people’s comments on each post and I’d love to hear what you think!
Bonus Announcement
Since I haven’t got the Moondust Productions Newsletter up and running yet and I have a bookish announcement to make, I’ll feature it here. Moondust Productions is excited to announce that we are working with Kathryn South on a children’s book for 10 – 15-year-olds! We are illustrating it together with a mix of hand-drawn and graphic illustrations and a pre-order date will be released soon. With the author’s permission, I am releasing the title to you - as I typically do - before the official title reveal. So - drumroll please - the title of Moondust Productions newest children's book is:
‘What Fun is a Quest Alone?’
The plot revolves around Terrence, a horse who has been brought up in a unicorn herd since he was a yearling. Although he loves his family and friends, he is always conscious of the differences between them so he decides to set off on a quest to find his birth family, but his best friends – Serenity and Flash – won’t allow him to go by himself. After all, he doesn’t have a horn to warn him of danger and anyway – what fun is a quest alone? Along the way, the trio experience adventure and make some new friends including a baby dragon, a mermaid princess, and a little human boy with Friedreich’s Ataxia. The boy’s sunny outlook makes Terrence rethink his attitude toward life and he learns to see the beauty in differences. This is an inspiring story about overcoming imposter syndrome and discovering the value that each one of us can bring to the world as individuals. The friends encounter danger and doubt at every turn, but when the quest is finally over will Terrence be able to reunite with his long-lost family or will he choose to return to the life he left behind?
